It is rare to find a vet that takes into account the whole horse; from nutrition, feet, and bodywork. I’ve never met a vet as dedicated, ethical, and honest to his patients as Dr. Modesto. Dr. Modesto has helped our horses with a wide variety of things.  From the general pre purchase exams, yearly shots, routine maintenance, to the panicked calls of we have one who cut his nose or help, we have a horse with a leg caught in a tree!  He has been extremely patient with us and has never made us feel like a bother. He truly treats his patients like they are his own. He has helped keep our competition horses sound and going down the road.   He helped our horses when we worried about an injury and then monitored them on their road to recovery.   He always made sure we understood what was going on, and that we were all in agreement about a course of action about a horse.  That has been invaluable to us.

We have taken all of our horses to Dr. Modesto and been very happy with his top notch care and close attention to detail. Very important to be able to fully trust that your vet has your horse and your family at the top of his agenda!!
